Basically when I use my key(master) to open the door it doesn't open it still remains lock...so I have to open passenger side first- then reach to unlock/open the driver door ...even when I close the door and still have it unlock I can't lock it with my key

Today I finally got the horse shoe thingy on the crank handle(I've tried before but was scared to break something) I removed the door panel today to have a look at what's wrong..but wasn't sure exactly where? Would I have to buy new locks or a certain part or something to fix this? sorry no pictures.... anyways any help would be great otherwise thanks

 

I am having the same problem...first it was my passenger door now my drivers door. Now i dont even lock my car unless i wanna climb in through the hatch...Anyone got any suggestions on how to fix this?

 

the metal rod that connects from the key hole cylinder to the lock/unlock tab is not connected or broken.
