just got my engine in from hmotors today
ok. i was on this forum a long time ago. cant remember my password though.
anyways ok.

my question is on the right side motor mount isnt bolting up right. i got the LSD tranny too. i got the hasport mounts. what mount do i need for that side. im bout a half inch off. i got the other mounts on, and the t-mount in the back on..i cant figure it out

has anyone done a walkthrough or done this and can give me some advice

this is a b18c gsr 94-97 with the LSD tranny

regular gsr motor mounts, hasport is what i got

why are they off on the tranny???

try jacking up the tranny should fit with no problems??

 

did that..ill go try it again.from the pictures it isnt that far down. it seems the lsd tranny bolts up differently.

 

the tranny could be LSD NON LSD ls gsr si the outher housing is still the same.
y dont u put the mount on first (on the tranny)and then jack up the tranny into the motor mount bracket?

 

tried that..but i have to let the jack down when i do that, and the tranny moves more forward, then when i start jacking it up, it hit the mount about halfway....i have tried loostening every mount up some..i dont understand why it isnt fittin..i know it should be.

 

The reason its off is because your car has an automatic chasis. either you or the person before you converted it from aut to manual, and the auto is off by a couple inches. My car was the same way. To solve your problem you will nedd to buy an auto to manual tranny conversion mount.
