the other day my timing belt snapped while driving 5 days later after i have it fixed it runs rough and thers gas coming out of the muffler so do i need a head and does any one no what swaps with no fab i prefer a z6 head

 

you bent some valves and might have messed up youre pistons just get new valves but in it if the pistons are ok. That why youre supposed to change those belts every 60K of so most all honda engines are interference design

 

so do you no what heads interchange with a d16z6

 

Im guessing you have a z6 block right?

If so im pretty sure all d series are interchangeable..

 

does anybody here got a d16y8 head for sale and ill give a z6 head that needs a valve job

 

I have a complete Z6 head, minus the valve cover. I do not know the exact mileage, but I think it's under 100K. The going rate on these is around $100. I'll knock a bit off if you send me your bad head, whatever shipping costs and a few bucks. Otherwise I have a Y8 head with just the valves, springs and retainers. This head came off a low mileage 1998 EX engine that was pulled to drop a bigger one in. Does $50 sound fair? Then you'll pay whatever Fed Ex, UPS or whoever charges to ship it.

can anyone help me out by telling me how to test the check engine light on a del sol
