I'm building a custom exhaust for a Co-workers RX7 and he wants a Dolphin tip style muffler on the end of it (similar to the J's racing here..)


He could care less if it's Ti or not, but I can't seem to find anything like it on another exhaust system or universal muffler.

Does anyone know of one I may have overlooked?

Couldn't you just take a round muffler, and weld a piece of 3" stainless u bend on then burn the whole tip blue like that...It wouldn't be Ti but it would have a similar appearance, and use a brushed muffler, or sandblast a polished one to give it that flat look.

you can make that with a u-bend or pie cuts

 

all RE exhaust products feature the dolphin exhaust design. Its for noise direction. Flame direction (have you seen a stock rx7 blown flames).

 

my 5zigen GN+ they sell the just the muffler too.

 

Thanks for some ideas guys. He doesn't want to deal with trying to get ahold of one of the RE exhausts so I'll see what he thinks about the 5Zigen!

I picked up a WS2 exhaust last night and i plan to cut off the til and install a turn down like these. i have some 3" partial bends so it should be easy
