79 accord distributor pickup coil resistance
I'm trying to repair a distributor off a 79 Accord 1.8L. I've identified that the internal pickup coil is bad, showing zero resistance. I just got a new pickup coil from Autozone that shows 750 ohms, sitting on the bench, not installed in a distributor. I have two other identical assembled distributors, (both good) that each show only 372 ohms, which is almost exactly half the new one's reading. Intuitively, I would think higher is better in this case but I would like to be sure before I put it back together. Does anyone have a Honda spec that tells what the resistance of the internal pickup coil should be? This is at the plug (red and gray wires) coming directly out of the distributor.
Thanks... Don

Fix your problem?
I need to know the position of the 2-wire (blue and yellow / black). not as they are connected inside the ignition.
I own a honda quintet.
