I would think broken shift fork, more then bent.

How are your engine mounts, loose and saggy or tight and frim?

Are all the mounts new ?

How much whp are you putting out ?

Torque will make the bottom of the block swing out and move the tranny with out. This will throw the shift linkage out of the optimum alignment.

Locking you out of just 2nd when you shift?

Probably the 2nd gear synchro sleeve.

one of my friend's gsr EK was locking him out of every gear beyond 7000 RPM.. the clutch wasn't disengauging all the way.. and he figured out it was his clutch master cylinder messing up.. we would be at a dead stop and he would have the clutch in all the way and rev it to 8k and the car would start moving..
