Default Hello

Im new here. my usual forum is leaning toward the lame side, so now i'm here. I'm sean and this is me crx.

its a 90 si. b18c1 swapped. fidanza flywheel, exedy clutch, skunk2 intake, p06 with p72 basemap, hasport, rywire, etc, etc. its fairly stock.

I over-revved it one day, and the timing slipped. the cams were 180 degrees from where they should have been. I dont know if the piston hit the valve and stopped the cam or the belt simply slipped. i still don't know. but this is its current state.

i ditched the gsr head, and now i have a jdm pr3 head. Im currently working on pulling the rest of the motor and tranny, installing an eagle stroker, or maybe even stock crank with eagle rods and high comp pistons. whatever i do its going to be all motor. i have my heart set on a 9000+ rpm capable motor, bored and stroked to a 2.0 or damn close to a 2.1, twm itb's, complete skunk2 valvetrain, and a seriously worked head by my local machinist. but who know's what'll happen in reality? I'm trying my hardest though.

this is one out of 3 cars. i also own a 95 integra ls, and a 95 ford probe. i'll be selling the integra for something nicer that i can make money on, and eventually cash in on all these parts i want so bad. so what do u all think?

9000+ rpm isn't that hard i got a poor mans r with skunk valve train and a buddy club cam and i rev to 9 k daily and occasionally take it to 10 but the power starts to drop around 9

yeah some dumbass kid hit me back in high school. funny thing is i had time to stop and watch him move toward me, and he just kept on coming.<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by NlCK B &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">nice sleeper it's nice to know i'm not the only one all go no show

yeah, skunk2 valvetrains can take a pounding, but what u got done to ur bottom end? stock bottom end bearings won't put up with that for too long.

and thanks, im not all go btw. lets just say im on a budget with this and i have my priorities set. i could sell the teg and have an sir front end with some fresh paint if i wanted. but going fast is more desirable to me than looking good.

the bottom end is kinda weird it's a ls block with gsr internals so it's the same as a gsr i just don't have the oil squirter's but i have around 37,000 miles on it right now and i just took it apart to check and make shure there is no abnormal wear and everything is fine the bearings look amazing i was surprised

nope no block girdle just arp studs b16 head with skunk 2 valve train, a buddy club cam, skunk 2 intake manifold, edelbrock throttle body, apexi vtec controller, aem fpr (which i hate), forgot what fuel rail, jdm itr headers (wich i love), chipped pr3 ecu (forgot what chip)

it was a fun build but i'm kinda over it now i some what regret doing the build even thought i got deals on most the stuff i still spent more money than i wanted too i want to build a honda challenge car or build up a 69 gto
