Ok so here is the deal.. I have a 1995 Coupe with a B16A with a GSR Trans... my Half shaft is the female type as seen in Pic



I spun the axle and went to Napa and told them I needed a 95 GSR axle.. what I got was an axle that went into a male type half shaft... seen in pic



so my question is what year and model do I need to tell Napa to get me an axle for? thanks!

 

not positive but try and ask for a 93 ls axle

Correct you need 92-93 LS or GS-R axle for that intermediate shaft.

 

why would spinning an axle be cause for a new axle there made to spin

 

yeah thats right you need the one from the 92 93 LS I was runnin it in my car

haha they are?? OH MY GOD! no I spun the bearings inside the cv boot on the wheel side. please excuse me for my lack of fully explaining the situation!

thank you for the vital information!

 

i just used the axels from a 99 civic si/ex and they worked fine for me and i have the same setup as you !

 

alright got a 93 LS axle works great! thanks everyone!
