I have an 88 accord lxi with an auto tranny and the tranny was working fine and I lost reverse for no reason. Forward gears work fine. When shifting out of nuetral into park the transmission is making a whining noise and when I rev the motor the noise stops but still no reverse. The car has a 182,000 miles. The fluid looks clear and full.

Any ideas would be apprecciated.
