mugen header problem
recently pick up a mugen header for my 5th gen and when i atemped to install it, turns out its not a bolt on piece. the b pipe or down pipe is to long and the collector is to big for the factory cat. do you guys think if i make a flange to bolt the cat to the down pipe and cut a small section of my cat back it would work right, meaning no performance loss. all help apperciated. thanks

all good info thanks. but i order the header from kings motorsport and it said it was for a 5th gen base model. i called them about it and they told me that my cat was aftermarket or it was altered because they had installed this header on numerous preludes. i just find that hard to beleive. thanks again, i think i'll try what bb6 00 did looks like a pretty clean install.
