top end valve assembly- now block scored

top end valve assembly- now block scored
the valve assembly has been done 3 times by the dealer under warranty and now they say the block is scored and need new one! i say they dropped something in the cylinder when they did the job and should replace the whole thing! anyone else had any problems?

well, once you discover scoring in any cylinder, you should replace the short block b/c its not going to get any better.
I'm curious, what was the original complaint when you brought your s2k to the dealer?
