They saved me plastic numerous times. You still get **** dinged up but its not shattered like it normally would have been.
My experiance is from Summit point for the most part about 8 years ago when I raced bikes a lot.

They look like they work, but then again, hope you're not the one who has to find out. They look like mini-pegs..If they made them for my bike, I'd probably get them.
They look like they work but holy crap those look like ****. Frame sliders is enough imo. If you want more get aftermarket rearsets with solid pegs. or just don't crash

you think it'd rip the subframe before it broke/bent that bolt?

a pic of a single on each side...</TD></TR></TABLE>
-what's with the one by the footpeg off the lower frame? and if its not a track bike, why bother with so much protection? full comp insurance maybe better for the street.

You beat me to it. I'd be afraid of them catching a lip or ripple in the road and ripping something off. The same goes for frame sliders...a lot of guys over on the WERA board don't use sliders at all after seeing so many bent/torn frames from using them. I use sliders, but I wouldn't recommend adding more sliders that stick out so far.

the cheap sliders that don't have dual mounting points do egregious things to daytonas...they put a hole in the head of the motor.

So in conclusion...yes...they would be effective...at screwing your bike up.
I've seen those plastic sliders do some crazy things to subframes and frames. When they are meant to "melt" or "grind down" before they break metal off and what not...but they don't.

The satos and the GSG's seem to do a great job of not harming the bike, because of the mounting points, they haven't had trouble with them tearing up the bike at all...For these tail sliders, I think I am going to pass.
I still ordered case covers, and case sliders.

another frame slider another piece of something to crush your leg wen you low side. Had two buddys with crushed or broken legs from frame sliders. If you cant afford to fix your dinged up bike dont crash it. Frame sliders only work if you lowside or drop it, and both are caused by rider error. The force of a highside crash will rip your plastic rite off from the sheer force of 500lbs. hitting the concret and you get the shakes your fu(ked no protection there, a car pulls out in front of you, fu(ked,. Plus if you lowside you better pray that your bike dont hit the curb or go into the gravel cuase the curbs gunna fu(k your stuff up and with the gravel yeah they MIGHT not crack but that gravel it gunna mess them up to the point your going to need new plastics.
IMO: I have yet to go out and buy a set. I love my bike and would take every precaution to protect it. But FS only protect your bike if all the stars are lined up perfectly and are ment to protect your frame not your plastics (hence the name frame sliders).
