Default Black dash conversion. Problems with low and high beams.

99 Integra LS.

Today I finished converting my tan interior to a black interior. I was check all the electrical stuff to make sure it all works.

I turn on my low beams and the "high beam" light came on. I tried to flick the high beam switch and still the same. I turned off the headlight and flicked the high beam switch again and it went on like it should.

basically my problem is that the high beam symbol is on when I turn on my low beams. I can't confirm that my high beams are actually on, just the high beam symbol since my headlights are getting retrofitted.

I think it may just be the symbol going off and not the actual highbeams since I didnt touch any other wires except the dash wires. Any clues to where wires gom essed up or other issues?

yea, I tried every combo and still it had issues. I had to solder the blue, green plugs together since they were cut, but they were all connected correctly.

Im in the middle of doing mine right now. I had to take all the black interior out and it didnt seem to hard to put back in.

And to your question> check all the grounds under your dash.
