h22a/92 civic wont start :/ battery installed backward by myself heh
ok battery installed backward caused a spark at the terminal
but I DID NOT turn the engine over with the battery in backward!
I replaced the main 80a fuse
but im driving down the road and the battery light comes on ..hence the battery is not recieving a charge from the alternator...the engine turns off at 70mph on the freeway
someone said a load detector was built into the fuse box so i installed a usd fuse box
NOW.. i jumped the car and it ran perfect for 2 seconds..now it wont start at all
my plan at the moment is to put the original fuse box back in just for giggles :/
It would be nice if someone could point me in a direction maybe
~~
thx

ooooooo me too !!
I swapped the the fuse box with the original and the engine runs fine as long as the battery is connected to my other car battery
just wish i new if there is another device in the circuit thats "tripped"/melted
electrical diagram says 80a fuse fries before anything else eh soo
OUT WITH THE ALTERNATOR I GUESS ...and get it checked\
any more ideas are appreciated!!

check the #15 fuse under the dash. pretty common to fry under odd electrical situations.
*EDIT* I just realized this was way old and I would not have posted had I seen it. To the guy above me....why on earth did you bring this back up
