Battery wont stay charged I just replaced the alternator and battery but everytime i drive the car it dies and just runs off the battery (starts again with a boost). I was thinking it could be a faulty voltage regulator. Voltage generated by the alternator is not getting to the battery. anyone have this problem or knows what to look for?

 

Do you have any sort of 12 volt aftermarket product installed (amp, fog lights, deck, etc)?

 

Yes the car did come with a aftermarket deck installed but other than that its stock

Hey guys,

I did the h22A swap into an EG and fabricated a 1 piece obd1 wire harness from scratch.

2 of the wires go to the ecu
1 wire goes to the battery light on the dash
1 wire goes to +12 same place as the 12volt wire that powers the resistor pack which comes from the main relay under the dash on the left side next to the hood release latch.
