Default So I bought a Fireblade

I guess I'm the first of the regular posters here to get an 08 1000RR so I thought I'd share a few pics and impressions. I'll be doing some project articles for TOV so I'll post those here too.

First bike? Just kidding man. Nice pick up. I think those bikes have to grow on me a little bit.

I've been one of the few that have actually liked the new 1000rr and still think it is sexy. Great looking bike man.

I got 600 miles on mine and its getting the first service as we speak. I love this thing it is amazing in hmm well everyway. I am one of the few people that thought it looked sick from day 1 though so looks never bothered me.

All I can say is ride one if you can. But beware you will end up selling your bike for one

Wow, nice choice.

And the black too eh? How many of those are being made again, i hear not too many.

A local dealer told me they sold one for like $18,000 when they first got it in.

So when can I come burn some rubber off it

on a side note, does it look like you could core out that exhaust housing and use and aftermarket pipe with the shroud? It's really clean, but I would have to have a full system

Love the '08 1kRR..but I refuse to buy the first year of any new honda...

I would take the mirrors off at the dealer, and wouldn't pick it up until a slipon/full system was sitting at home waiting for it.

Nice. The reviews that I've read said it's an amazing bike that was much better then the other 1000's that were out this year. I've heard rumors that honda pushed the release of this bike and next year may be another new model.

I have heard nothing but praise on this bike and wish I had the skill to get near one.

Congrats and ride safe
