I have a 95 eg and with driver and passenger side airbags.
my question is if I replace the steering wheel with a non-srs and if I get in an accident, will the passenger side airbag still deploy? or will it not work anymore? I really want to get a steering wheel with a quick release hub, but I don't want to put the lives of any passenger in my car in danger. thanks in advanced

Yes, you need a 2.2 ohm resistor. Connect the two ends into the driver airbag plug on the steering column. The SRS computer will think there's an airbag there and the passenger airbag will still function.

 

will the mes plug in the picture be in the same position on an eg? and will I have to make a conductor and follow the same steps as in the prelude write up? or is there a separate mes plug for the passenger side? thanks again for your help.

 

MES connector is located on your fusebox (plugged into the fusebox).
