Who here corner balanced their cars?
I should have my gc's and konis thursday or so and im wondering if it will be worth it to corner balance the car once everything is installed.
I know in racing applications this is important, but for a simple set-up like mine is it worth it?
TIA

I think its a nice thing to do , however when I put my car on the scales it was already within 18 lbs L-R in the front and EXACTLY even o-o in the back
front to rear diff was only 72 lbs , so I cant comment on if it does make a difference but I think if you want a balanced car it would be essential

Honestly, I corner balanced my CRX and didn't feel like it made THAT big of a difference. For a street car, I wouldn't bother....

I have coil overs + konis on my street car and I haven't corner balanced it yet. It would be nice, but it's not important for a street car. As long as your ride heights are ok and match, it's alright.
Find the flatest spot you can and take out the ruler. Measure at the pivot points of the control arms. That's the best way I've found to do it with out scales.
Temperature gauge is ultimately your best friend.

I would do it. It's fun and educational. Impact depends on how far off you were initially. Read this article:

I've been talking to people at different autocrosses and they said if I can get each corner within a few millimeters of each (with someone in the car and what you run for fuel) that's the best bet. They said they got the car measured that way and then went on the corner weighting machine and it was very close.
This only applies if your car is equal weight from left to right sides. My striped 92 GSR is just over 100 lbs. different from left to right at 2275 lbs. And no, the driver weights 175 lbs. Most left hand drive Honda's will be left side heavy so after corner balancing the right side ride height will be higher.
I had mine done when they installed my coilovers. Very nice, kind of hard to tell what difference it made since i went from stock to coilovers...
