Default Hazard Lights Switch?

The Car: 86' Honda CRX SI

I am having problems getting my hazard lights to work. My turn signals work fine. I have replaced the flasher relay but it still doesn't work. I am thinking it is in the switch. Does anyone know if the switch can be rewired to a toggle switch? Has anyone done this and what wires would I need to connect? Any help on this would be appreciated.

check the positive battery terminal. there is a fuse and wire that go directly to the hazard switch. this is usually all corroded to hell and is the main problem.

If this is your problem (most likely), the easiest solution is to install a seperate inline fuse from the small single wire at the positive terminal.

do either of you have a picture of this wire? When I did my swap I moved the battery to the back. I am wondering if this is not hooked up at all. I did look at another CRX and did not notice anything but I believe I may be missing something.

Thanks for the help. It turned out to be the combination switch so I ended up replacing that and all is working again.
