So i go to the doctors this morning and as im leaving my car gives me kind of a sputter/ feels like the engine is holding back a little, as i give it a little more gas it feels like it lunges out of it. then as i shift into 2nd or 3rd at low rpm is does the same thing until i hit about 3500 rpm.

It also kind of sounnds like a wrx when its doing this.
It only realy does it at rmps between 2000-3500.
not throwing any CEL


any ideas? this is my dd and i need to get to work tomorrow

 

well mine was sputtering too breaking up around the same rpm but my car sat for a long time so i went changed the wires and plugs and oil change and wow she came back to life. when was the last time u did a tune up and oil cahnge?

Exactly what I did and the sputtering stopped

 

which wires and plugs? -- i'm a noob and i think mine is doing the same thing.

LOL the spark wires and spark plugs, the wires that are on the head of the motor and the plugs in the cylinders after you remove the wires.

Edit: Hire a mechanic before you break something
