so check it out.i have a jb16 on a EF.and all of a sudden the car wont click over to start.i changed the fuel pimp thinking it was that.then i checked all the fuses,then i checked out the filter to c if there was any pressure coming from the fuel pump and the lines.so theres no presure pushing out the gas.i dont know what it can b,let me know what it can b.thanx

 

maybe its the wiring to the pump, or maybe the main relay.

can you hear the relay click when you turn the ignition to the on position? does it also hum (thats the fuel pump)

 

i cant hear the relay,.but i can hear the pump.so it might b the relay cuz it was working good and everything then all of a sudden it never clicked over again

 

you could try to re-solder the connections in the relay.

I'm not sure but I assume you open it up and find the soldered conections and resolder them. Try searching, there may be a write up or some info.
You could also try getting one from the junkyard, first find it though. Its mounted on the body behind and to the left of the area where the "hood latch handle" is.

And are you sure this is the problem?

So is the relay clicking or not, is it intermittent?
Its common for the main relays that are starting to go bad to work intermittently.

 

now that remember it sometimes did not wanna start.so i had to try it a couple of times and make it work.then i tought it was the alternator or the starter but they both worked fine when i tried it in my freinds hatch.then all of a sudden it just did not wanna start what so ever.it wants to crank but it just does not crank over the whole way
