Default B16 trans mount problem

Im trying to install a b16 into my buddies ef. I installed the driver side one already but when I try to install the passenger side top (trans mount) it doesnt line up? Its strange to me because it's to peices. There is a plate that bolts to the trans and then the mount to the plate.. Is this how it's suppose to be or does he need a new mount? The trans how ever wont line up either. It seems to need to go back towards the fire wall but the intake manifold hits and the trans cant go lower (as if raising the back to get the mani of the wall) because of the torsin bar. Im lost could some one please help as I have a pile a parts lying in my drive way and this needs to get done

Thanks

try loosening up your mounts from the engine and trans so u have some wiggle room. after u get your mount bolts through, then go ahead and tighten your mounts back down. then u should be good .

The problem is that the mount does not line up period. After doing some research I learned that the "true" Jdm motors come with a RHD trans mount that is different then the USDM mounts And that we need to use a 90-93 Ls mount. This is what we are going to try tomorrow and go from there I guess
