OT: Speedo Calibration?
Yes it's for a ticket, any easy way to throw it off a few mph? Only posted here cause nobody knows **** in other forums. Car is a '91 Accord DX automatic.
It's a stock lowest trim level accord, it's already got major width... larger wheels/tires are out of the question since I'm selling it soon.
shame on you for driving the banana-mobile that fast. disregard the three tickets i've gotten in the last 2 years... i dont know bouts fairfax county, but i got one in manassas once, and i remember seeing a brochure at the courthouse that said "faulty equipment" (which i think was also speedometer miscalibration) was worth 2 points on your record along with a fine. if fairfax has a similar policy then, that sucks (assuming you got it in fairfax) just go blow up your tires to like 45 psi somewhere close to where you get your speedo checked. and if you get shafted after having done all that, try to get it reduced with online traffic school. i did the online traffic school and it was so easy. i completed most of it at like 3am after a night of heavy drinking last winter.
