Does anybody know if the factory AP1 radio has any outs that I could connect a/v cables to? I've got my aftermarket headunit setup in my Civic to AVs that Y out to a mini-audio to plug my MP3 player into, but I've not pulled the S2k radio out to take a look at it yet.

not that you want to hook it up anyways, it's a mega low wattage system with very bad speakers

Is your ipod adapter just a 9pin CD changer connector?

 

Yeah some thing like that. It plugs into the same sport the CD changer does

 

humm i may have a mini cooper ipod adapter that may work

cd changer port adapter, i throw away the oem changer along with the HU and upgraded with a kenwood with ipod connection

The car's already got decent speakers in it from when I bought it, and I'm not putting a new headunit in it. I've driven it a grand total of 1200 miles since I bought it in October.

If I can't hook anything up, I'll just burn a few CDs to throw in the car.

i drove to chicago on a rented hyundai and it had the aux. input so i played/listened to 3 movies on the way there; Anchorman, ***** of Fury and 300.
kinda cool blasting 300 on the car's speakers, just wanting to cut somebody's head off...

 

haha! **** is funny... just put some on and listen to it while driving around the mall and act like nothing is going on
