Default Has anyone converted an 88-91 EF to OBD1? No, Seriously

I don't mean just the ECU wiring, or motor wiring, I mean has anyone completely removed the car side wiring harness and replaced it with one from a 92-95 civic?

I have a OBD1 B18B1 and OBD1 P75 ECU and all the right mounts and linkage to drop it into an EF i picked up as another project, I plan to run a Hydro trans and pull the Hydro lines off a 92-95 and mount them onto the EF. I was also thinking, instead of splicing all this wiring trying basically go from an OBD 1 motor, to an OBD0 car harness, back to an OBD1 ECU, how hard is it to just Yank the entire bay and ECU harness out and replace it with an OBD 1 piece? Has anyone on here done this before? Is there anything that would really stop me FROM doing this?

seems pretty straighforward. I know a guy who did that exact thing with a toyota 4x4 that he swap an LS1 V8 into. it will probably be more work at first but the end result will be a cleaner setup that will be easier to work with.

Thats kinda what I was figuring (Cleaner but more work). I really don't wanna have to splice a million wires, and the car doesn't have a transmission yet anyways so I'm not in a rush to finish it.

I'm converting an EF to 92-95 motor, trans and wiring, not to mention there is alot more traffic here. Someone with a solid understanding of 92-95 wiring would know if this is easy or not and thats kinda what I was hoping for.
