Remember, these bikes are slated to be $5999 in the USA, track only, non DOT approved.

Awesome bike. Too tired to go on and on about it tonight. Figured I could at least edit a few pics to get this one going. I took over 700 pictures this weekend and have over 1000 from another photographer, billd92 here on the forum.

This is from Day 1 at the track. The bikes arrived the night before, new in the crate thanks to Luftansa.

you know some will make it to the street... Pre-order only, and confirmation needed. going to be tough to get, but once they are gone that's it.

Very light, very maneuverable, proper track bike. To put things in perspective, it weighs a good 100 lbs less than a 600. And it's got the Jorge Lorenzo livery from last year

I called my dealer. they need a minium quantity ordered first.

Mschu, what dealer are you connected to, and do you know of any that have any people already on hold? that would be my best chance at getting one...

As for making it DOT legal, it'd take 10 minutes.

Believe me they will go fast... Who's your local dealer?

Large dealers are required to make a commitment of 10 units and small dealers 5 units from what I hear. I have no affiliation with anyone, but I have it on good authority that places like:

http://www.xtremepowersportsusa.com/

http://af1racing.com/

http://www.spectrum-motorsports.com/

will all get them

Supposedly, aprilia is looking for a minium amount of pre-orders...and all of my local dealers are saying they are tiered at 5, while more rural dealers have a lower expectation.

I plan keeping in contact with my dealer..I want one!

I'm thinking this might end up being a collectible bike one day. Kind of like how now some 15 years later a NSR250 (street titled) costs a little more than it did brand new. Of course I couldn't buy it as a collector's bike, but I'm sure some will.
