I was replacing the lower ball joint which is in... but the upper ball joint just spins when I try to tighten it... do I have to replace it? or should I just impact it?

also, if I replace the upper ball joint can the old be pressed out? or do I need a whole new arm?

 

I would just get another upper arm if I were you, less of a headache.

 

eh... thats 114 for each side.... I just used my Ingersol rand impact

sometimes the stud on the ball joint need a hex bit to hold it while you tighten the nut. check to see if yours has it

A couple weeks late on the answer and I have never seen an oem honda ball joint that had a allen key hole on the stud
