with the price of k swaps comin down i thought about savin some cash and sellin my current set up to go k series. my old rsx type s put down 248whp with i/h/e, ips cams and kpro with a pretty decent tune. so i know the potential is there. what you guys think?

yeah it"s a very nice swap but for the cash you can build a Turbo B series. for the swap it"s like $2,000+ in extra parts just to put it in for it to work... but like this guy said if you got the cash go for, cause i thought about doing it too! but more power for cheaper GO BUILD B SERIES....

The swap will run about $8500 or so. This is motor, trans, kpro, axles, fuel management, mounts, shift linkage, etc. I went from a stock B18C1 because I wanted better gearing. I'm very please with the K series swap. I'm running a 4.8 final with factory LSD. I had to jump through some hoops because I used a K20z1. The speed sensor pickup on the 2005-6 RSX is different. Either use an earlier RSX for the swap or go with the Type R. Good luck.

ive already done the b series turbo and it was fast but i missed having a responsive n/a set up. my sol went from mildly modded gsr with itr tranny then i boosted that set up and from there went to fully built B20/vtec. now i want more from a n/a set up.

K-series is the best way to go IMO.
