Why is the K20 swap so popular now? I don't know much about it but all i know that it comes with i vtec and produces more horse than the b series and the new civics and rsx has it but it comes with six speed. So if you swap it in a integra wouldn't you need six speed too? It is also too much $.

 

for the k series to work youre going to haveto get a k series transmission, so yes, youll need 6 speed.
The reason its so popular is because it has a lot of potential, It has a good amount of stock horsepower and its just something new.

 

I think i like b series more, so ill stick to my gsr.

 

The K series motor is a much stronger motor!! You will be able to do alot more in the end with the K series with alot less prob ... Plus the motors hold up really well on boost ... You can make up to 500hp stock motor on boost ... A buddy of mine just made 560 on c16 stock motor ... I would love to see someone try and do the with a B series!!!

 

not only boost, but allmotor too. ive already seen a bunch of allmotor k's making 300+, even with a fully built c5 that is one large, expensive, time consuming task...

 

i want do to k series but i cant find mounts for the da's
