i read on the net somewhere that having a turbo kit
increases the gas mileage of your car.
but if your switching gears a lot with a lot of boost
then it actually decreases mileage
is this true?

that is untrue, having a turbo decreases gas milage when boosting. When in vacuum it uses about the same amout af gas as a na motor.
