I just did this last week. One joint went in fine, the other one, well hours of grief. Until I had someone stand on the rotar while I tightened it on.

I used a "C-clamp" and a 30MM socket to press it together tight so I could tighten the balljoint nut. I will post a pic of exactly how on Fri.

Are you using a torque wrench and torquing to only the correct specification? You don't want to over-do it and have that ball-joint break off later down the road.

You can use a c-clamp or place a jack under the control arm so that it puts load on the balljoint to keep it from turning. I'd also spray the balljoint stud and the nut with some wd40. It always makes it go on easier.

thats what i do on the lca.

It should work on the UCA balljoint too shouldnt it ? It should load the whole suspension when you put the jack under it.
