Getting code 43 - Fuel supply system error, what should I do?
My car is running fine, but I've noticed for a while now that the fuel gauge goes up and down at its own will. For example, it will show about a half a tank and then a minute or so later it will go back down to about the level it really is supposed to be at, then a minute later it will go up a little, and so on. The cel doesn't come on until about 10 minutes after driving. The cel just started coming on a few days ago. So I'm wondering what exactly do I do to fix this error code? Is it the fuel pump or filter? Or something else?
I don't know about the cel, but does the needle only move around once you are below half a tank?
My needle seems top move around below half a tank pretty frequently, just depends on whether you are turning, braking, so forth. If it moves around just while driving straight on a level road, then it could be a different problem. Otherwise, I'd say it's normal for the needle to have some movement in it.
