I searched all around and couldnt find anything, was their ever such a jdm b16a that came off an sir that was automatic (factory wise) and the vtec cam lobes were actually a tad bit smaller then that of a standard jdm b16a?

the guy i bought the motor off of said it came off of an automatic sirII????? it had an automatic flywheel on it, but also the vtec doesnt hit as hard as one fella from es motorsports mentioned that it might because i have smaller vtec came lobes? since some in japan were made to accomodate an automatic tranny???? i know that all si only came in manuel in the us but dont know what what goes on in japan so any help would be awesome!

 

The auto cams are smaller.

 

they are smaller and the ibtake manifold is diff. just change those.

 

thats crazy lol! but i also herd from one of these shops, since it doesnt hit as hard on vtec, i dont really get that much fluctuation in oil pressure? is that true or ? meaning it might be a bit better for roadracing??? i was thinkin about throwin in the itr cams and the skunk2 mani later down the line
