car has problems startings..help please
I have a 96 civic ex coupe d16y8. It just started having problems starting. It is throwing a p1336 interruption in CKF sensor but i know what the problem is one of the wires hit a belt and the wire got sliced now before it came on it was a little hard to start but now that its on i turn the key for 5 seconds didnt start then again for another 5 didnt start then the 3rd time it started, ALSO when i was leaving work and it started after a few cranks the rpms dropped and it almost stalled but then they jumped back up. Anyone have any idea?
if you used a butt connector to connect the wires it could be interrupting the signal.
I would put a shrink tube on one wire without heating it and connecting the wires crossing the wires evenly while twisting them, then slide the shrink tube over the connected wires and heat the shrink tube until it shrinks the connection tight.
If the wire does not have enough length add some wire using the same process.
but most would probably tell you to soder the wires...
