It would help if you mentioned which cams you have in your motor?

I just hope your not running some big cams with stock valvetrain.

Pro 2's on stock type r valvetrain, you're either a fool or you have plenty of money to blow. Your tuner/builder is a even bigger fool if he didn't tell you to upgrade your valvetrain before the cams were installed. And those cams are plenty crazy if put into the right build. I'm guessing you're actually overcamming your build. What other mods do you have and plan on doing?

well the guy who tuned my car said the stock type r valve train would be fine. my del sol has crazy cams and i got the crazy valve train to go with it. my boy recommended the pro2s as a decent upgrade over my ctr's.

little off topic but would a skunk2 pro 2 cam work good with reg skunk2 valves springs and retainers in a type r head for an ls/vtec build?

I seriously hope you're messing around just to get your post counts up.

pro2's are the worst thing you can get for the stock itr valvetrain. ****, even the pro1's are too aggressive for it.

I was talking about the OP.

But yes, s2 pro cams would work with the normal s2 valvetrain.

Night and day difference. Assuming you have the compression to back up the pro2's.
I'd honestly go with the pro 1's.
