Read the other post more carefully, the Pro 1 cams made 40 more hp at 3psi less boost, that's more like 80whp.

Do a back to back test with the blox cams and let us know how it works out.

if the blox are an exact copy I would think you would see similar results.

if theyre exact copies then why compare them???same base circles, same lift, same valve speeds, same duration at .010, .020, .030,.040....you see my point????only thing that would make a change in anything at this point is lobe seperation....

Exactly. The whole point is to confirm they are the same and make the same power.

Both should come with spec sheets which should make it easy to verify if they are exact copies.

I think the bigger question would be is whether or not they are made from the same quality steel.

Materials are the same, but they are not duplicates. Blox copied the proto-type not the production cams.

Seems to me that blox is just another SSAuto that knocks off everybodys ****, they just don't have the name that SSAuto has. Every part blox has is a knock off of a successful part.

Tough **** bro, that's how the world works.

Microsoft knocked off Apple who knocked off Xerox. And these are huge companies...if it's happening at that level you better believe it's going to happen in the import performance world too.

Up until the Pro series cams came out almost every cam manufacturer (junk2 included) was stealing JUN's VTEC lobe for one of their cams, I never hear people bitch about that.

If someone out there can make your product the same quality/better for cheaper, than tough luck.

Don't hate the player, hate the game.

Ram horn style turbo manifolds were originally done by Kook's Exhaust and also AXZ out of NY waaaay back in the day, they justy did not use the extra thick SS now used by everyone

It's one thing to be a player in a market, developing your own things, working off of what's available. Comparing Apple and Mircrosoft is a bit different than what we're talking about.

I know there's nothing you can do, but i won't support these knock off companies in any way. They come out of nowhere and the only products they offer are knock offs. No development work at all. I support those who do the research and development.

You don't have to agree, doesn't really matter to me.
