Default My 310cc all motor setup idea. Will this be successful?

Tell me if you think this would work, of how it could be improved.

Base information about the car.
I have a b16a, on obd0, with a dc 4-2-1 header in an 89 hatch on 22" slicks, cable trans. This car is for 20% street squirrel activities and 80% drag racing. Car with driver and fuel weighs 2100. I'm also working feverishly to pull another 80-100 pounds out of the car. Base numbers for car performance, at 2100 pounds, are shown in my sig at the bottom of this post. Elevation at the track is 2253' before weather.

Base information about me.
I am, at best, 400-1000 miles away from any dyno/tune shop. So I have no opportunity, AT ALL, to simply whip on down to the shop for a tune. I'm really on my own here (well, I have you guys)

What I want to do, or see happen
I'd simply like to peel a few 1/10ths of my quarter mile (3 to 5 tenths). And get my 60' down in the 1.8's

Don't worry about my budget, or if the gains will be slight
I just want to tinker and have some fun with the car. I also don't care if I lunch the motor, I'll get another. I've got to learn this eventually, based on my location.

What I am contemplating
I want to put an Edelbrock performer-x and 65 mm throttle body on it with 310cc injectors. To compensate for the richness and no management, I'm going to put a fuel pressure regulator on it and tweak it that way. An upgrade to that would be to switch to obd1, new dizzzy, and have Phearable whip me up a chipepd ecu with a better base and also I'll have 2 step launch control to help make the car more consistent.

Assuming I can get the car to run at a reasonable A/F level, will this work?
I'm likely gonna dump a ZEX dry 50 shot on it later this summer. This is something to play with now. I've got our first drag races of the year coming up, and I don't want to barely be dipping in the 13's again. I want to make sure the car is SOLID in the 13's. My buddies have a real problem with nitrous, and I want to serve a little notice on some of my V8 buddies that run mid to low 14's that I've got my **** together WITHOUT nitrous. At least this one time.

Other information
I've got a new hydraulic transmission being built (by a shop that hangs out on these forums), and I've picked up a new 6 puck ACT extreme clutch and their 12 pound flywheel as well.

Race day is June 8th. I've got some time. Sort of...

I appreciate your thoughts, even if you think I'm a tool.

i read all 48 pages, took a week. F that manifold and t.b. (since it sounds like there is a budget) and buy this

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW

and this
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...06115&

and spray a 100 (or more) shot on you're pitiful lil 310 cc wek-sos b16, and 11's could be had. FaK the 13's. skip 12's. yes 11's. Read the nitrous thread.

I'm with ya. I read the whole nitrous thread too. That's why I decided on the 50 shot dry. Lot to read there. That's for sure.
