JDM1.com
Has anyone dealt with these guys? They seem to be new. A friend of mine is planning buying through them.
I just wanted to see if anyone has heard of them or dealt with them before.
Thanks,
Alex

Actually, I should rephrase that....He sent them money for a JDM B18C and they've appeared to drop off of the face of the earth. No response by email, phone is disconnected, etc.
If anyone has any info on these guys, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Alex

WARNING!!
I've discovered some interesting things about JDM1.com....basially, if you do run into their site, just keep running. Here are a few responses from people that have dealt with them:
I am sorry but I actually cannot remember what I sold him. It was probably
a nos kit or an exhaust. It is different circumstances when he is buying
rather than selling. Hi incentive is to get payment to me so he can get his
product. The incentive is gone when he has your money already. I really
hope you can work it out and I wish I had more info for you. Good Luck!

I had a similar problem as well as many other people that have dealt with the company. We have made several complaints to eBay and they only suspended their usernames temporarily. I am upset at the response from eBay and will never do business with eBay again. I did eventually almost two months later receive my engine in less than satisfactory condition. The harness was cut, turbo blown, no MAF or ignitor chip, ECU damaged, missing coil pack, and the engine clearly has over 75k miles on it. He finally sent me another turbo, ECU and coil pack in which I had to pay shipping to send back to him. Needless to say I am still bitter about the situation. Good luck, let me know if I can do anything. BTW.. I would keep calling him, thats probably his residential number you have if you have one.

I would just go straight to the legal action. The
engine I recieved from them was not worth a penny. In
fact they looked like they do minimal checks on the
engines they sell. Try to get your money as soon as
you can and go to Heavythrottle.com because they are
very reliable. As for my engine I had it shipped back
to them and they have yet to send it back with a new
head on it and I have not heard from them in a month.
Sorry about the bad news but I am sure you are not too
late to get out.
