Default maintance req. light staying on... one blink

i know all about the resetting the light for the oil change, the problem is i just did the oil change, new brakes and rotors, and now a day later the maintance light stays on. blinks once randomly right after the car has been running ( for 3 sec).

2002 rsx-s
97000-99000 ( can't remember off the top of my head) somewhere around there.

ideas?

Reset it again. The maintance light doesn't indicate problems.

Mine came on around 50,XXX. The light stayed on until I decided to reset it. It's just a remainder for maintence.

yeah, just to the reset again, it may not have taken it the first time 100% ???

just turn the ignition forward and select trip 'a', turn key off. press and hold trip button, then turn key forward to 2nd possition and hold. wait untill it flashes and goes away. if that doesnt do it, you may have to select trip 'b', or just the odometer. most hondas are trip 'a' though.
