Default TB SIZE

I have purchased the skunk 2 pro series IM and it has a 66mm tb opening so would it be adventageous to me to purchase the 66mm Skunk 2 tb to accompany the 66mm opening on the manfiold? i belive stock tb is 60..?? has anyone gone with the 66mm ?? anything good?

Well I hope you plan on tuning the car. It would probally make sense to use a 66mm TB on that IM.

You are having it tuned in some way right. Other wise, you might have the reverse effect and start loosing power.

A larger TB is going to make the gas pedal more sensitive and provide more airflow at higher rpms (providing that you need it )

yup i realize how the TB works for the most part...im going to unfortuneatlly only be tuning it with a wideband because no dyno around my town...i have the neo for tuning which is a glorified vafcII...umm im just curious if anyone has gone with the 66mm 66mm match up ?

Well Ill be doing a 64mm TB and Plenum to my lude once I get my timing adjusted. And Ive been tuning with an Adjustable FPR. It pretty cool.

sick bud... im running I/HytechHeader/exhaust/pulleys/IM and now this TB.....should i be upgrading fuel now such as injectors or fuel rail or keep it stock?

Id say a slightly larger injectors cause you have the capability of more air now.

Im running, 375cc injectors on mine
