Default bumb stop cover problem/ strut problem...HELP

I own a 98 acura integra GSR, and I'm replacing both struts as I need to leave town on wed. While replacing the second, I found that the bump stop cover/strut cover was rubbing against the strut tower. Because I'm having a hard time finding that protective part before I leave, I'm wondering how necessary it is. Also, if necessary, what other types of integras/hondas could this same part be found on? what should I do? thanks alot.

you dont need that cover. they only work with springs. it has to be removed for coilovers.
