Help! Axle keeps breaking
Hi I have an 93 integra GSR and it keeps breaking axles. It started when I lost both of them and replaced them both with BAP axles. I drove around fine for about a month all over town and then one night while backing out of my driveway the driver-side axle broke. This time I replaced it with an autozone axle because I heard about their lifetime warranty. drove it across town and it broke again. After that I replaced it and made sure it wasn't rubbing on anything(both times the driver axle broke it was when the wheel was turned almost all the way). After this last replacement I start driving it being careful about how much I turn the wheel(only 30 or 45 degrees) and and it breaks again right down the street.
I've done research and heard about how bad autozone axles are, but I want to see if there is anything else that I should check into before replacing it again. here are some more facts of the situation:
-Car is lowered over 2 inches, almost 3, but has been this entire time.(even before the first break for like 4 months, i'm a new owner of the car)
-passenger axle is completely fine(a BAP axle, not autozone)
-The last two times it broke(autozone axles) they snapped completely in two pieces
-They always break where they plug into that coupler between the transmission and the wheel, the longer one(in between the coupler and the wheel) is breaking.
Is there possibility it has something to do with that coupler or the LSD? I saw some info saying motor mounts could cause this? I think two of mine are bad.

i had the same problem lol sad to say i went through like 7 axles on my drivers side.. so hapen to be the driver side mount had broke and i didnt have a front motor mount so the engine was snappin the axle..so basically what the guy above me said..
i have had a similar problem.....i have a 93 ls and i am also very low. had bad axles when i bought the car so i replaced them. the car shook under heavy accelerating and mostly in 2nd gear, so i raised the car a little bit and still nothing. so i got them replaced again and i still have the same problem. i havent broken any yet but it sure as hell feels like they are going to snap. i have put probably around 1000-1200 miles on the axles in the car now....for now i am just going to ride these ones out but from the research i have done all 90-93 integras have issues with axles. the only thing that i havnt tried yet and has been recommended to me is oem acura axles.
hope this helps and yes i know they are expensive
but it might fix your problem
