need help figuring out if i have a type r tranny of jdm gsr
so i dont know what tranny i got i bought it last week it has lsd it also says on the bell housing and it also says s80 how can i figure this out if its a type r or jdm gsr

s80 jdm gsr would have 'lsd' stamp. s80 jdm itr would have 'j4d' stamp on it. other than that, open it up and check the ratios.

it will either have 'lsd' (gsr) or 'j4d (itr) on the front of the bellhouse. won't have both. if it says 'lsd', then you have a jdm gsr lsd transmission if it hasn't been modified etc.

hey i also got a problem i have a b18c1 benson sleved block and it is over heating fan works every thing seems okay when it over heats the top hoes blows off and they r really hard
