Everyone up here is gonna tell you to do a search. But I help u out.
I didn't go with the ITR Cam setup, instead I went with the CTR cams in my GSR.
I love them alot, no problems with stock internals over aftermarket internals.
Your gonna have to beef up the Exhaust side with a double srping. What I mean is get the whole drive train for a ITR (springs inner & outter ones retainers etc) and you should be fine. What other mods do you plan on doing down the road?

It would be wise to invest in these as well, but most people just do the springs and retainers.

Well, the only reason they came to mind, is because another HT member performed this mod only to come back to HT and ask about a loud ticking.

One of the response he got was "Did you swap in the LMA's?"

I haven't followed the thread past there...so I'm not sure if that was the fix for him not.

The loud noise is due to the VTEC lobe slapping against the LMA. The Type R LMA's are slightly taller. They also compress much smoother than the stock. I personally use the ITR LMA's in my H22a with reground cams. this has helped decrease noise and wear on the VTEC lobe.
