1st off- Glad to finally be a part of Honda-tech! I've already familiarized myself with the site and searching and although it's hard to believe- I couldn't find an answer to my question...

Will a 2008 front bumper fit on my 2000 S2K? Same clip locations?
How about a rear?

Like this site, I don't know my S2K very well...Last friday I got off the throttle to stop a skid while going up hill in rain and instead of stepping back into place like it has on dry pavement it came completely out Fortunately, I was not hurt and the S2k and I live to see another day.

I just read a couple of DIYs yesterday and yes, you can put 2004+ (AP2) bumpers on the previous models (AP1). For the front, you may need to grind off the corners of the front cross beam and for the rears, you need to fabricate simple brackets to account for differences in offsets of the mounts.

If I was you I wouldnt do it stick with the AP1 look.

 

if ur gonna do an ap2 front, u need the headlights too, i dont think it looks right without them, and same for the rear.

you don't need it, it's purely an appearance opinion

Lot of people prefer ap1 headlights on AP2 bumpers
