brake issues again....
Here lately I have been having terrible problems with my brakes on the integra. It all started a couple weeks ago when I was just cruising and all of a sudden my brakes went to the floor. Since then I have bled the system and it has been completely fine up until yesterday.
Yesterday I pressed on my brakes pretty firmly at a stop light. After leaving the stop light I had noticed quite a bit of drag coming from my brakes. Well I cruise about another mile and decide to pull over and the drivers rear brakes were smoking from where the caliper had seized. So I shut the car off and let it sit for a minute and it released itself so I went ahead and cruised home. Right before I got home it happened again along with my brakes going to the floor all over again. I am also not leaking any fluid anywhere.
So today I went and jacked the car up and looked at the rear calipers and pulled them off a regreased the pins and such. After doing this I noticed the seals on the pistons are shot.
So my question is, would those seals being bad cause the brakes to go to the floor? And could that also be causing the calipers to be seized?
