so i have a b16a swap that the car came with and it idols a little wierd when its cold and the ecu has a red light in the middle of the ecu that has 2 long blinks than 2 fast blinks never saw a ecu with a red light before any ideas ????

 

The red light tells you what code the computer is throwing (Whats wrong with your car) its part of on board diagnostics. Two long blinks and two short blinks indicated code number 22 which is Variable Valve Timing & Valve Lift Electronic Control Pressure Switch (VTEC Pressure Switch).. Problems with your VTAK lulz

 

so where is the pressure silionid at ???? vtec still opens up though so would that be the problem still??? also on the ecu there is a white wire with a yellow stirp that is cut and jumped to a black wire on the opposite side of the ecu dunno why..... and how do i tell if its a us ecu or jdm thanks
