Alright guys.

If I hook up my cigarette lighter a special way, I can get it to work; but then I blow the fuse for my gauges and tail lights, I don't understand it. If I plug it in the regular way, it doesn't work. The stock way is (harness) black and red to LED to black on socket, and white/blue to white/blue on socket. My way is black to black and red to black on socket, and white/blue to white/blue on socket.

Can anyone help me out? I can't get this!!!
