While I really like Nicky, I have become a great follower of Dovi since Qatar this season. I would love to see him next to Dani next year in HRC Repsol.

roomer has it Tech 3 Yamaha may pick him up. edward's rumored to be leaving after this season to return to AMA, because he's tired of traveling.

The same rumor's been going on since Qatar, and there's also rumor that HRC wants nicky for another 2 years. Edwards has said he's not ready to retire from GP either.

*yawn*

Edit - if you believe the rumor mill, melandri is going to replace west at kawasaki by the end of the year too and bayliss is going to ride for the factory. So much noise goes around the media in the paddock...

Yeah at this point it is just the Italian media speculating about Dovi and not actually HRC saying that Dovi is going to replace Hayden. Still, if Hayden doesn't get his season on track it is pretty likely he will get replaced. I think Dovi is already signed to JiR Team Scot for 2009 but HRC has an option on him. That means that HRC doesn't need to worry about losing Dovi so they can wait to see how the season plays out a bit.

I watched the French GP which was the first GP I've seen of the season. It's great to see Honda fielding a competitive bike again but disappointing to see Nicky not be able to keep pace.

I have a feeling Nicky may be on his way to WSBK. These 800cc bikes are just designed for a different riding style.

It would be cool if Kawasaki picked him up though.... He would run wild with a Screamer!

If Spies can't keep up the the front runners when he does his wild cards then it will just further prove that the ERA of Superbike riders is over and the ERA ex 250cc champs is among us!

Yeah your right! I forgot how many GP races they have won!?

Nicky does not like to ride in mid/rear of the pack. If he looses the Best ride in GP it wont get any better for him!

to have a satelite team consistently in the top 7 is awesome. and the fact toseland is doing so well with never having ridden any of these tracks is priceless. i can only see toseland moving to the top.

nicky hates riding mid/rear pack, but wouldnt want to be in the mid/rear of the racing series around the world

Well, how many races has someone other than Stoner, Pedrosa, and Rossi won in the last 2 years? 3. And one of them was a superbike rider.

I think the 800 era will favor 250 riders but that doesn't mean that a strong superbike rider can't be successful either. I'm really interested in seeing how Spies does in GP next year because I think he has more raw talent than Toseland does.

Well in the rain anyone could win!

And yes I am also thinking Spies is better then Toesland and perhaps on the same level with Hayden and Edwards! I am also excited to see this!

funy response i read about all the rumors in the mill.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">And I just heard that Rossi and MS will be switching rides as well so VR to F1 and MS to MtGP. This just in form the rumor mill press; Colin Edwards to head a secret Yamaha factory effort with Kenny Roberts to be the first 'mericans to ride an enduro to the top of Mt. Everest where they will throw snowballs at Japanese "Hooters" waitressses while wearing tiki masks. John Hopkins has also secretly signed with Hyosung to develop thier MotoGP effort in 2010, spy photos reveal that the bike will be a single gear turbo driven unicycle. Hopkins was overheard saying, "If I can just get it to turn I think we can be competative".</TD></TR></TABLE>
