input shaft bearing question.. searched.
I'm about to do the input shaft bearing on my 96 integra. I can't find the part anywhere online, and I don't want to walk in to the acura dealer and ask for an input shaft bearing on monday and have them have no idea what I'm talking about. Can anyone give me a part number or a link to a website that carries one so I can get the offical name?
Also, is there anything else I will need to do the job, parts-wise?
Thanks in advance..

different manufacturers have different names for different parts, acura or napa should both know what your talking about.
as far as other parts, your going to want to think about doing other things while you have the tranny out, like clutch if its comming soon, maybe a rear main seal if its leaking other than that, nothing i can think of, but ive never personally rebuilt a tranny.

alright hopefully they will know what I'm talking about, I didn't want to look like a total idiot when I walk in to the parts department.
Unfortunately I just had the tranny off because of this noise, I did the throwout bearing because thats what I thought it was, but I was wrong. I also did the clutch and rear main while I was in there. Didn't know that the input shaft bearing was a common honda problem until I had it all back together.
